SRIDHAR C. NIVARTHI
Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) · ISB Executive MBA Alumnus Strategist · M&A Advisor · Business Transformation · Financial Restructuring · Board Advisor
For more than thirty-five years, Sridhar C. Nivarthi has operated in the engine rooms of Indian and international business — advising boards, restructuring balance sheets, leading cross-border M&A, and steering enterprises through their most consequential inflection points. A Fellow Chartered Accountant with an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and deep domain experience earned across Big4 firms, CFO mandates, and independent directorships, Sridhar brings a rare combination of technical rigour and boardroom wisdom to every engagement.
After three decades in practice and leadership, he founded Sthira Advisory on a single conviction: that the most complex financial and strategic challenges are best navigated by an advisor who has lived them — not observed them from the outside. He works with boards, promoters, investors, and family businesses who require not just analysis, but judgment.

The Philosophy of Sthira and Vridhi Sridhar founded Sthira Advisory on the foundational principle that true, expansive growth (Vridhi) is impossible without steadfast stability (Sthira).
In today’s volatile economic landscape, companies often aggressively pursue expansion or face unexpected market distress without a solid operational and financial foundation. Sridhar’s advisory approach is rooted in providing that unshakeable foundation. Whether structuring a multi-generational succession plan for a family business or optimizing the capital structure of a distressed asset, his focus remains entirely on protecting shareholder value and ensuring corporate resilience.
Areas of Expertise:
- Governance & Independent Oversight
- Financial Restructuring & Turnaround Strategy
- Board-Level Risk Management
- Family Business Succession & Wealth Security
Having lived inside that system — the boardrooms, the restructuring rooms, the lenders’ consortiums — and having watched India’s enterprise culture from the inside for three decades, Sridhar stepped back after the pandemic to do what he could no longer do from within a corporate mandate: say it plainly, advise freely, and build with conviction. He works today as a trusted advisor to boards, promoters, investors and family businesses who need not just analysis, but judgment forged through experience. “Rooted in Wisdom, Committed to Resilience.” |
